Jessica Lowy, PT, DPT, CMTPT
Jessica, raised in Belle Harbor, New York, began her physical therapy career in New York City after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Hunter College’s Physical Therapy program in 1996. She received her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in 2010. She has completed certified training in functional dry needling from Myopain Seminars in 2015. Jessica prides herself in being up to date on the latest orthopedic research. She has completed extensive continuing education in manual therapy and Pilates. She is well-regarded for her expertise in the treatment of orthopedic injuries including shoulder, spine, foot/ankle, and sports injuries. She has been working in Outpatient Orthopedics for over 20 years. She has experience working with patients in their homes for the last eight years, and recognizes the important of returning patients to their previous level of function.
Michal Porath, PT, MPT
Michal Porath, raised in Brooklyn NY, received her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from Binghamton University, and went on to receive her Master's in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2002. Michal started her career working for an outpatient facility 16 years ago, treating student and adult athletes, working with the local high school teams, as well as individuals with general orthopedic diagnoses including total hip replacements, knee replacements, low back pain and sports injuries. Soon, Michal decided that working in her community was important to her, and so she began working in the outpatient department at Englewood Hospital Medical Center. Michal started providing In-Home physical therapy services 8 years ago, part time, for patients in Bergen County. Soon after, Michal started working Part time for SINAI Schools, working with young adults with disabilities who were enrolled in the high school programs, providing both orthopedic and neurological physical therapy. After opening up Prime Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Michal has decided to focus on Prime full time. Michal utilizes an evidence-based approach to treatment and develops specific programs based on the individual’s needs. Michal believes in treating the person as a whole, not just the diagnosis. Michal stays current with the new research and up to date orthopedic and neurological approaches through continuing education courses and attending physical therapy conventions. She incorporates multiple approaches including myofascial release, Mckenzie and Mulligan approach and Feldekrais approach. In her spare time, Michal enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and cooking.
Eisha Locascio, PT, DPT
Eisha LoCascio has been practicing physical therapy for 24 years. She graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Rutgers University with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Eisha has experience in various settings including outpatient rehab, home-care, sub-acute rehab, and hospitals. She has worked with a wide variety of patients with various orthopedic and neurological conditions including, but not limited to, pre- and post-operative orthopedic surgeries, neck and low back pain, postural dysfunction, various balance disorders, and strokes.
Eisha has taken extensive continuing education courses involving manual therapy, especially muscle energy techniques, functional movement and exercise, balance and gait disorders, and osteoporosis. Eisha enjoys working with the adult/geriatric population in order to help them achieve their maximum functional potential.
Eisha is married and has two boys, one in college and one in high school. She loves to exercise and learn new exercises that she can teach her patients. She also enjoys hiking with her family and attending their sporting events.
Elan Araten, PT, DPT
Elan Araten has been practicing physical therapy for 8 years. He graduated from Touro College with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, and immediately began working in outpatient orthopedic clinics. Elan has experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, including Herniated discs, Rotator Cuff tears, and knee injuries. As a dedicated therapist, Elan's continuing education includes courses ranging from the mechanical evaluation of the orthopedic patient to manual treatment methods for orthopedic diagnoses. Elan works for Prime part-time, seeing patients in their homes. When Elan is not seeing patients for PRIME, he is working at his own practice in West Orange, NJ. Elan grew up in Staten Island, NY, but now lives in New Jersey. When he is not working, he enjoys working out, playing basketball and traveling.
Nick DiSomma, PT, DPT
Nick recently graduated and received his doctorate of physical therapy from Duquesne University this summer. He currently enjoys working with the geriatric population in both the outpatient and In-home settings. Nick also loves to make a difference in his patients lives with the use of various manual therapy techniques to help decrease pain and improve function.
